The Brontë Heart Board is a handcrafted declaration of love, combining fine walnut wood with authenticated reclaimed wood from two of the most significant locations in the Brontë story.
The heart at the centre of the board is crafted from authenticated wood reclaimed from Haworth — the village forever associated with Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë. The heart is surrounded by a cobalt blue glow-in-the-dark resin inlay that glows softly in the dark, giving the piece an ethereal quality that makes it as beautiful by night as by day.
Engraved on the board is one of the most celebrated declarations of love in English literature, spoken by Mr Rochester to Jane Eyre:
